 The webring and links page has long disappeared, and with the rise in popularity of ladder sites and decline of "regular" game tourney's, our schedule page has long since faded out as well. But for all the "Old" VPers out there we've decided to recreate all our old tourney pages as well those we created for others. Although these tourneys themselves are not currently running, we hope you'll enjoy visiting them to remember the "Good Ole Days" of VP! |

It began in the fall of 1997 when we discovered there were others in VP like us who were not planning on letting ANY holiday keep them from playing gammon in VP. Since other tourney pages were planning on being "closed" for that day, we decided to make GOBBLEGAMMON our very first tourney! It was such a success that we had to follow up with GRINCHGAMMON and that led us onto numerous other tourneys and pages found below. THE ARENA was originally created for Quarrels and Fights in VP but can also be used as a tourney site so is included here. All our other holiday tourney pages originally housed Backgammon Tournaments.

"Members" are simply our friends who had me create a tournament page for them. In some cases they eventually moved the pages to their own webpage server, but generally, all pages were kept on OVPZ's site and updated or maintained by us. The tournaments themselves were hosted or run by the Member. |
